ELISE Final Report of Skinive
We are happy to announce that we have successfully completed the Elise project. As part of Elise, our company has improved the performance of the Skinive MD application, making the product more stable, user-friendly and efficient for use in medical practices. The algorithm’s capabilities have been expanded, namely the accuracy of the technology for most classes has been improved and the number of false negatives has been reduced by a factor of 3.8.
Also, the Skinive algorithm has become more focused on mobile photography, one could argue that our neural network has become more adaptable to real clinical practice using a smartphone camera. Mobile devices with the Skinive app installed can be used with great confidence by primary care physicians for skin pathology screening. This should have a positive effect on the availability and quality of medical care.
“Who helps us better to improve AI than the European Network of AI Excellence Centers? We are pleased to have been chosen to implement our socially important project.” – Co-founder & Product Manager of Skinive.
